The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) is the official export credit agency of the United States. In a nutshell, they minimize the risk of foreign buyer nonpayment and allow U.S. companies greater access to vital working capital through allowing exporters to expand credit terms and assigning insured receivables as collateral.

During this webinar you will hear from:

Allen Uhler, The Natural Vet
Allen is an exporter out of Tennessee who uses EXIM for his exports: "I have always believed that distributors or resellers would be better off spending money on marketing and establishing a market for my products than having to buy my product. Everyone has limited resources. If they spend the money on marketing, that will sell the product. How do they take their money and spend it on marketing if they have to buy the product? And that is what I have been doing for years. I get the US government to guarantee the receivable of the buyer. So the buyer has the money (their money) to spend on marketing and sales efforts. When the product arrives at their warehouse, the buyer jumps into action and often times satisfies the pipeline of buyers he has established. And the service costs me nothing”

Susan Kintanar, EXIM Bank, Regional Director of the Eastern Region
