Alabama

Alabama farm scene

The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries works closely with the Alabama Department of Commerce, the Alabama International Trade Center, the Alabama State Port Authority and our agricultural stakeholders to promote international sales of Alabama products.

The Department’s goal is to increase sales and maximize profits for Alabama non-commodity food manufacturers, forestry product manufacturers, and other agricultural product companies while identifying, expanding, and creating new markets for their products. This is accomplished by participating in trade missions, reverse trade missions (where buyers are brought in to visit Alabama companies), actively promoting Federal trade policies to help Alabama agribusinesses, and providing marketing assistance to companies interested in exporting.
