Canada Inbound Spirits Trade Mission to North Carolina & Virginia

Canada imports more than US$250 million of spirits from the U.S. annually, the second largest category following wine. In Canada, each of the provinces and territories has full control over the importation and sales of alcoholic products. The Canadian beverage alcohol market is a highly competitive and sought-after jurisdiction due to government-controlled importing and large-scale retail distribution. This mission will primarily target spirits companies with proven success in the U.S. or other export markets, who are interested in exporting to Canada. The trade mission will include one-on-one meetings OR on-site visits with beverage alcohol agents and/or liquor boards from provinces across Canada, offering market entry to multiple regions. A pre-mission educational session will take place virtually to provide companies with an opportunity to learn more about the market before meeting buyers.

Craft spirits have been identified as booming industries for many SUSTA states. Registering for this event will allow companies to meet one-on-one with qualified buyers from Canada in either North Carolina or Virginia to explore the European market at a very low cost.

Participation Fee: $35.00

• Pre-arranged matched one-on-one meetings with key buyers, importers, distributors, and/or brokers from Canada
• Pre-mission educational session and market briefing

Product Samples: All participants are required to provide samples of their products at the event; if there is a reason you cannot sample your products, you must contact SUSTA’s Global Events (events@susta.org) team upon registration.
