South America Inbound Trade Mission to Americas Food & Beverage Show

Sep 15, 2026
Tuesday
Miami, Florida
Inbound Mission

- Brazil – Latin America’s largest consumer market, with over 30 million high-income consumers and strong demand for premium, convenient, and health-focused foods. In 2024, U.S. agricultural exports grew 29%, driven by dairy, tree nuts, and beverages. Its dynamic food processing industry continues to boost demand for quality ingredients and long-term opportunities.

- Colombia – One of the most reliable U.S. partners and the sixth-largest destination for U.S. agricultural exports in 2024 ($4.5 billion, +21%). Under the U.S.–Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement, exports have tripled since 2012. With 53 million consumers and tariffs decreasing through 2030, Colombia offers steady growth for U.S. food and beverage products.

- Chile – A gateway market for premium U.S. foods, offering zero tariffs under its long-standing FTA with the U.S. In 2024, exports reached $864 million, led by dairy, pork, sauces, and spirits. Chile’s open market, strong retail sector, and appreciation for U.S. quality create ongoing opportunities for high-value products.

- Peru – A fast-growing, open, and food-driven economy where the U.S. holds an 18% share of the $2 billion consumer-oriented food sector. In 2024, U.S. exports totaled $889 million (+15%), led by high-quality, value-added foods. Peru’s stable economy, low inflation (2%), and world-class gastronomy continue to support demand for U.S. brands.
