HAWA Expo 2026

Agricultural imports from the U.S. to Vietnam have increased over the years, and today Vietnam is its 8th-largest importer in the world. For U.S. wood species products, Vietnam was the sixth-largest importer in 2024, with the country purchasing $350.1 million of products, an increase of 38% from 2023. This growth is expected to continue as the demand for high-quality raw wood species products increases. The combination of Vietnam's growing demand for wood species products, favorable trade relations, and its expanding furniture and construction sectors makes it a strong market for U.S. exports.

To drive export sales of wood species products from Southern United States to Vietnam, pavilion will be sponsored by SUSTA at HAWA Expo on March 4 - 7, 2026. HAWA Expo is an annual wood furniture manufacturing showcase held in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing that draws over 700 exhibitors, and allows participants to engage with over 20,000 buyers from 100+ countries. HAWA Expo focuses more closely on furniture manufacturing and furniture industry suppliers than the biennial VietnamWood show and includes exhibitors supplying both temperate hardwood and softwood lumber species. Booth space will allow Southern US wood products companies to market forest products directly to Vietnamese importers – distributors, traders, and furniture manufacturers attending the show.

Participation Fee: $500

• 9 sq. m booth space
• Interpreter services (please request in advance)
• Shipping of up to 100 lbs. of product samples through SUSTA’s designated freight forwarder*

*Fresh/frozen/chilled products may be subject to separate allowances

Product Samples: All participants are required to provide samples of their products at the event; if there is a reason you cannot sample your products, you must contact SUSTA’s Global Events (events@susta.org) team upon registration.
