Vietnam Wood Species Inbound Trade Mission to North Carolina, South Carolina, & West Virginia

Vietnam is both a major exporter of wood and wood products (to destinations like the U.S. and Europe) and an emerging, growing importer of raw materials, including U.S. logs, sawn timber, and veneer. In 2024, Vietnam’s wood and wood product exports soared to approximately USD 16.25 billion, up over 20% compared with the prior year. Vietnam imported roughly USD 316.36 million worth of U.S. timber in 2024&mdashthis includes about 303,330 m³ of U.S. logs (? USD 89.9 million), 428,980 m³ of sawn lumber (? USD 215.3 million), and veneer imports of USD 6.72 million. All were up significantly year over year. Vietnam is pursuing policies to increase imports of U.S. raw materials to satisfy its wood processing sector, which is heavily export oriented.

Exporters are invited to participate in this high-value inbound mission bringing top wood species buyers from Vietnam to the Carolinas and West Viriginia. This event offers a unique opportunity to build lasting trade relationships with importers actively seeking high-quality wood species products from the Southern United States.

Fee Includes:

• Pre-arranged one-on-one meetings with key buyers, importers, distributors, and/or brokers from Vietnam
