The Virtual Trade Show was initially created
for companies that did not have a web presence. Since its creation,
many companies have become more proactive in marketing their products
via the Internet.
Today, the Virtual Trade Show acts as a
showcase of southern products. SUSTA actively promotes the Virtual
Trade Show to buyers overseas. Instead of providing only a web presence,
SUSTA’s site acts as a portal directing foreign buyers to
the websites of participating companies.
Companies provide the text and photos for
the "booths." SUSTA places the information into a template
and posts the "booth" after company approval.
