About Griffin

John T. Griffin founded the Griffin Food Company in 1908. Today, Griffin Food Company is still owned and operated by the Griffin family. John W. Griffin, the grandson of our founder, is President. He continues the tradition of his forefathers by leading a company dedicated to quality products.

From our manufacturing plant in Muskogee, we ship many products to our customers that continue to have the highest quality. We encourage you to try our syrups, jellies and preserves, mustards, salad dressings, coconut, vanilla, and peanut butter. We produce two of "Oklahoma's Favorite" products, Griffin Waffle Syrup and Griffin Strawberry Preserves.

Griffin's has undergone many changes in the 92 years we've been in business…from a small, rented warehouse in McAlester, to our present plant in Muskogee; from mule-drawn wagons to our own trucks; from annual sales of less than $100,000 to multi-millions; the changes continue to keep up with the times, but the one thing that hasn't changed is the quality of products we provide to our customers. Before the Griffin name is placed on our products, our Quality control Department makes sure the consumer will get the best quality available.
