About Chef Paul Prudhomme's Magic Seasoning
Blends®
Chef Paul Prudhomme is a celebrity chef both within
the specialty food community and with the general public. His warmth,
knowledge, and philosophy are trademark characteristics that help
identify Chef Paul as one of the industry's most-beloved members.
Retailers benefit from Chef Paul's high visibility by gaining a
larger audience for his products and in repeat sales to satisfied
customers.
Chef Paul's Magic Seasoning Blends® was established
in 1982 due to the demand for the seasonings Chef Paul used which
highlighted the food at K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen, his popular
restaurant in New Orleans' historic French Quarter. The original
seven herb and spice blends were sold regionally from 1982 through
1984. In 1985 the seasoning blends became available nationally.
Currently, Magic Seasoning Blends® offers all natural products
in fifteen (15) different blends, Magic Pepper Sauce®, seven
ground, dry Magic Chiles, Magic Seasoning Salt™ and Magic
Salt Free Seasoning™. Representation is now in all 50 states,
primarily through National Food Distributors Association (NFDA)
member-distributors. At present, Magic Seasoning Blends® also
sells to 26 foreign countries. With the exception of the Pizza &
Pasta seasonings, all products are certified Kosher.

Magic Seasoning Blends are available in retail,
foodservice and bulk packaging. We also offer custom blending and
co-packaging.
Our R & D staff looks forward to fine tuning
your flavor profile to exactly fit your needs. With a 30,000 square
foot warehouse, full service R & D lab, test kitchen, and AIB
superior rating, Magic Seasoning Blends is well poised to respond
competively to your seasoning/flavor needs with hundreds of flavor
combinations available to suit your customers.
Magic Seasoning Blends® offers support to
retailers in the form of recipes and coupons in each package and
in-store demonstrations, often conducted by Chef Paul. To further
increase awareness of Magic Seasoning Blends'® products, Chef
Paul regularly attends food related trade shows nationally and internationally
and appears on television on his PBS cooking shows. He has written
eight cookbooks, the newest being Louisiana Tastes, which was released
by William Morrow in February 2000.
