Our History

After numerous years in the field of medical research, Victor retired and joined Phyllis to spearhead some of the technical aspects of our company. Today, Phyllis is the President and Victor is the Assistant to the President of the company they named after their first American born child, Amy Hsu.

Charles Hill (charles@amyfood.com) joined our team on April 12, 1999, as the Senior Vice President. His immediate responsibilities include implementation of programs and controls to increase our operating efficiency as well as to assist in the expansion of our sales and marketing programs. Charles comes to Amy's with nearly twenty years of sales and management experience, most recently as the Director of Foodservice for Seaboard Farms.

Greg Wendleton (greg@amyfood.com) has been with the company since August, 1998. As the Director of Sales and Marketing, he has immediate responsibility for sales in the Foodservice, Retail and Club Store segments. Greg also has twenty years of experience within the industry. Most recently with Tyson Foods and Seaboard Farms.

Mike Kuo, Ph.D. (mike@amyfood.com) is our Director of Research and Development. A graduate of Texas A&M, with a degree in Food Science and Technology, Mike is highly skilled at developing and matching products and flavor profiles. He is responsible for taking products from conceptualization to the marketable stage for all segments of our business.

Our MVP is Amy Kuo (amy@amyfood.com), our Office Manager. She is a "jack of all trades" and master of many! Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to Order Entry, Transportation Scheduling and Accounting. She keeps things running smoothly, so when in doubt, we ask Amy.

We have an aggressive growth plan and are prepared to work with you to help you achieve your objectives!

Retail

Available in your grocers deli, meat or frozen section are handy "Four Packs" of many traditional Egg Rolls, including: Shrimp, Vegetable, Pork and Shrimp, Chicken and Pork. Look for some of our newer "regional" products, Southwest Chicken, Cajun Pork and Philly Beef, soon!

We also offer single serving entrees. Among them are Spicy Hunan Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork. Each of these entrees are designed for oven or quick microwave use.

All of our retail products are MSG FREE.

Wholesale Clubs and C-Stores

Larger six and twelve packs of traditional style Egg Rolls are presently offered. Available soon will be one-half steam table pan sized entrees. These items will help meet the demands of larger families and smaller foodservice operators.

Individually wrapped traditional Egg Rolls, Breakfast Egg Rolls and Fruit Pie Egg Rolls are being developed for the fast paced needs of the convenience store segment.
