MAP Branded Marketing Program - Policies

SUSTA Policies
Allocation Ceilings: First time participants demonstrating less than one year of export experience are eligible to receive a maximum allocation of $25,000. First time participants demonstrating more than one year of export experience are eligible to receive a maximum allocation of $50,000. The maximum any company with previous participation in the MAP Branded can receive is $300,000.

Application Fee: Each company that applies for funding is required to pay a $250 application fee. This fee is non-refundable, non-transferable to another activity, and does not forward to next year if the applicant decides not to participate.

Administration Fee: Each company receiving an allocation will be invoiced 6 percent of the allocation amount. The invoice is payable upon receipt. The application fee is not deducted from the administration fee.

Branded Marketing Year: This is the maximum period of time any participating company will have to expend the Branded funds. Each company marketing plan is approved individually. Thus, the period of contract with SUSTA commences on the approval date and ends with the program year.

Expense Claim Deadline: The last day to submit an expense claim.
Incurred Expense: In order to be reimbursable, an expense must occur within the term of the contract with SUSTA. For most activities, the date of occurrence is the date you pay for the expense. However, trade show participation is considered to have occurred on the day that the trade show takes place rather than the payment date.
