The Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) is a regional agricultural trade association composed of the
fifteen southern states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The goal of this publication is to provide basic information
to SUSTA regional companies on the basics of exporting and to sensitize them to export opportunities.
Exporting can be profitable and rewarding for companies that commit their time, personnel and financial resources to
exporting. The tools in this handbook will assist new-to-export companies on their way to export success.
