Marketing and Communications Coordinator
The Southern U.S. Trade Association (SUSTA) has an opening for a full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator. The marketing coordinator will support communication and outreach efforts to small companies in the food and agricultural industry, member state Departments of Agriculture, and other industry contacts. Primary duties include (1) promoting SUSTA's programs and services by educating and engaging companies and individuals, (2) maintenance and updates to the SUSTA website, (3) writing and editing various materials for print and web. Some travel and moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs.) is required.
Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal skills, well developed language skills, and strong computer abilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), as well as some Adobe applications (Acrobat, PageMaker, PhotoShop) is a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and presentation skills and recognize the importance of attention to detail. To perform duties successfully, candidates must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess a college degree or 2-5 years relevant work experience. Marketing or communications experience is preferred but not required.

SUSTA bids out domestic and international projects to outside contractors with the aim of promoting southern U.S. agricultural products to the world.
SUSTA is not seeking bids on any projects at this time.
